The Business Launching Center has an incubation area of 33000 square kilometers, adjustable area of 18000 square kilometers outside the center, preliminarily forming a development structure pillared by three heading bases, hi-tech incubation park, hi-Launching technical park and technology incubation auxiliary system with institutes (or colleges) and local cooperation (cooperation projects between China Science Institute Wuhan Sub-institute and Xiangfan Municipal Government)
The Business Launching Center has adopted 198 technical enterprises, graduating 65, 97 in incubation, involved in electronics and information, optical-mechanical-electrical integration, new materials, energy-saving and environmental protection, aeronautics and astronautics, biology and medicines, annual output totaling 3.2billion yuan, annual tax 31million yuan, 2400 workers employed, 320 study projects underway, 120 projects with intellectual property right, 45 winning support from technical schemes of different levels, among which 3 is supported by the state renovation fund. Hi-tech enterprises incubated and graduating from the Business Launching Center account for more than one third of all in the city, in which 18 optical-mechanical-electrical integration enterprises including Dali Industrial Control, Zhuiri Electrical, Tiangong Mechanical and Electrical, have developed themselves into the leaders of domestic motor soft starting industry, accounting for one fourth of the market share. The Business Launching Center has become the core of technical renovation support and service system in the Hi-tech Zone and the city as well.
6 experts enjoying subsidy issued by the State Council, 2 researchers, 11 doctors, 26 masters and over 400 engineers, are either launching their own enterprises or offering service to enterprise incubation, the Business Launching Center has established sound ties with more than 20 universities including Tsinghua University, Xi’an Communication University, Beijing Industrial University, Harbin Industrial University, Wuhan University, Huazhong University of Science and Technology, Xiangfan University, and other big institutes and enterprises. Here is a gathering place for talents and technical innovation.
The Business Launching Center is devoted to Launching excellent incubation environment for enterprises, through establishment of three development strategies, which are advancement in environment, human resources, intellectual property rights; constructing four supportive systems, which are, policy, environment, networks, communication; building five service platforms, which are Park service, information networks, investing and financing, industry-study-research cooperation, intermediary service, providing services of all positions, total processes, and all weather, including information, planning, consultation, financing and etc, basically satisfying demands of business Launching environments by enterprises at different development stage. For the time being the development mode of the Business Launching Center is changing from “business Launching service oriented” to “deeper incubation oriented ”.
Looking forward to the future, it’s expected that by 2010, the center will have established six incubation bases, which are, the torch innovation business launching park, hi-tech incubation park, hi-Launching technical park, optical-mechanical-electrical technical park, astronautical-aeronautical technical park, auto technical park, a total incubation area amounting to 100000 square kilometers, absorbing 800 enterprises, fixed assets 0.2billion yuan, annual output of incubated enterprises 1billion yuan, 30000 scientific researchers and workers, 1000 scientific achievements underway annually, 50 enterprises graduating annually, it will have turned out to an important base for “second business launching” with strengthening self-invocation as the core in Xiangfan Hi-tech Zone.
