Hubei Province in History of the Three Kingdoms, the writer Pei Sing quoted records of the Chromicle of the Han and Jin Dynasty that Zhuge Liang lived in Deng County of Nan yang, about 10km to the west of Xiangyang City. That place is called Longzhong." While Li Daoyuan(466AD-527AD)wrote in his commentary on the waterways that "Mian river(today's Han River) passed Longzhong in the east, and through Zhuge Liang s former residence in the north. Zhuge Lianghad ever told Liu Chan, the last emperor of the Shu-Han Historical Changes of Ancient LongZhong Longzhong is the vary place where Zhuge Liang lived and studied from 17 to 27 years old(l97AD-207AD). The famous story "Liu Bei paid Three Visits to Zhuge Liang did take place there .Zhuge Liang s extraordinary strategy Longzhong Planing has greatly influenced the evolution and development of the story at that time. It s the origin of dividing the realm with three kindoms.That s why Longzhong is so important in the history of the Three Kingdoms. For thousands of years, Longzhong has attracted people to visit, it has become a well-known place for people to memorize Scenic spots and historical sites stone archway of "ancient longzhong" the archway was built in the 19th year of guangxu in the qing dynasty.it's the landmark of longzhong. the archway is about 6m high and 10m long.it is made of stones in the stle of wooden structure .it has 4poles and 3 doors. 10 huge stone drums fixed 4 poles at the base .the archway isfully decorated with various kinds of colorful ,complicated and delicate sculptures.people can find birds,fishes,insects,flowers and human beings as well in its body.what's more ,the archway has special and beautiful eaves,c Scenic spots in XiangFan City-sleeping dragon depths sleeping dragon depths is actually a temple.its original name is yeyun temple(wild-cloud temple),and eas firstly built in the year of chenghua of the mingdynasty(about 1465ad-1487ad).zhuge liang lived here with his family and met his friends here too.this place hides among mountains and forests,quite suitable for a hermit.in the years of qianlong of the qing dynasty,people chianged the name of the ancient temple to hiding dragon depths.
