On June 18, news from hubei Surpass Sun Electric Co. that the large pump electric motor soft starter produced by the company has been sucessfully used in Beizhao Yellow River Diversion Project(YRDP).
      It is said that Beizhao YRDP is the biggest irrigation works with the most investments which is launched after the New China is founded. The project is to pump water from Yellow River to E'mei Taiyuan to irrigate the land in Wangrong and LinYi, Shanxi province. A total of 650 million yuan will be invested and 300 thousand people will benefit from it.
      In the project, GZYQ3A high voltage a-c motor liquid soft starter, produced by Surpass Sun, is selected for big pumping unit. The product has been listed in the national key new product, the key state-level torch plan projects and national S&T innovation projects.
